Shippo Hand Towel
This is a single-sided gauze towel made with untwisted yarn and designed with traditional Japanese patterns.
This single-sided gauze towel is woven using Uchino's original Zero Twist X yarn, which has little lint shedding, and is extremely soft to the touch, thin, light, and quick to dry.
Komon patterns are used on kimonos and obi belts, and are patterns that are applied regardless of the size or density of the pattern, regardless of the direction, and are drawn by stencil dyeing or hand drawing. It is a traditional Japanese pattern from ancient times, and its design still exudes chic and modernism today. It is a pattern of four circles overlapping the four corners of a single circle, and it is said that the name Shippo comes from the word "shiho" (four directions). It is one of the Yusoku patterns, but the circular Shippo motif is also an auspicious pattern that represents harmony.
